After the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018), Samsung is reportedly going to launch an affordable smartphone at the end of 2017. Samsung's ready-to-launch device is reported as Galaxy J5 Prime (2017).
However, Phone Arena says Samsung does not have an official name for this smart phone, although leaks circulating on the internet indicate that the device is the successor of the Galaxy J5 Prime, also known as Samsung SM-G570.
The unannounced device also recently appeared on a list of devices on the GFXBench benchmark site, with the model number SM-G571. The device's model number handbook confirmed the rumor that this phone is the successor to Galaxy J5 Prime.
The Galaxy J5 Prime sequel is expected to be powered by Exynos 7570 quad-core 1.4 GHz processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage space. In addition, the list on the benchmark site also mentions the device armed with 4.8-inch screen 720p resolution.
For the camera, Samsung is said to equip the phone with 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) uses the Android operating system 7.1.1 Nougat.
However, the final version of this device will adopt Android 8.0 Oreo, if the South Korean company is predicting the use of Google's latest mobile operating system can drive sales.
